DEVON RING

This is The Devon Ring! After riding an old twin fin of my uncles, Uncle Gary!

I wanted to make one that went as good with its same outline, bottom curve, tail and fin placements but with rails, I would normally ride and my volume. The belly channels run into the fins and deepen the vee through the middle in between your feet, carrying the vee right through the tail which really gets you rocking into your rail turns. It has a flat deck and beak nose carrying its volume through out , longer hard edges stabilise the vee bottom when going rail to rail .

It has been made with four channels running out the tail in thruster mode which goes off also. When going to the original single belly channel I like to use glass on fins placed directly ontop of the channel as plugs limit this function

This board surfs from 2 to 6ft just like a performance board but with 80’s twin fin lines. If you like twinnies and you’re a performance surfer this is a must in your quiver.

My (75kg) Devon Ring is 5.10 / 19 .1/2 / 2. 5/16 . EPS / epoxy with carbon fibre down the bottom which stops at the fins for tail flex. It’s ridden with 2 extra litres than your standard volume of foam. All boards are custom-made to suit each individual.
